Carol made three large 18 in bears and 1 small 10 in bear from my mom's dark mink coat.My mom was nearly 92 yr old and her coat was her pride and joy back when such things were 'in style'. Her recent passing has left a huge hole in our lives and hearts so these adorable bears somehow makes her feel close by. Two of the large bears were given to my grand children last nite and they seem comforted by knowing that 'GG' (great grandma) can give them bear hugs. Carol was very thorough, professional, patient and kind in the entire process from the initial email contact to the final delivery. You are an angel Carol!

I love your bears, the quality is obvious even in the on line pictures. I would love to have you make one for me from an old
chinchilla and leather coat my husband gave me years ago. He passed away in 2005 so this would be a very special memory
bear for me. Your waiting list tells me your work must be excellent. I look forward to hearing from you.

I sent Carol my grandmother's mink from the US and she helped me all along the way and made an absolutely adorable BEAUTIFUL bear! I gave it to my mom for mother's day and she cried so hard when she opened it. She said it was the best gift she has ever gotten and such an amazing way to use the mink as a keepsake of her mom. Thank you SO SO much to Carol, you did an incredible job and the bear is SO cute, so much cuter than any other bears I looked at online. This will be such a treasure for my family for years to come!

My Aunt recently had some memory bears made out of my grandmothers fur coat for her daughters, my brother and I.
It is truly amazing what you do! It is absolutely beautiful and something I will have and cherish for the rest of my life. Thank you so much!

I think your work is amazing and beautiful!
The biggest attraction for me, is that you use recycled fur and are able to re-construct "Something New From Something Old" that one can cherish forever and pass on to their families.

Hi Carol:
Just looked up your site that I read about in an article from the Chronicle Herald in 2007. My mother cut it out and saved it for me, knowing that I have
two fur stoles from a grandmother-in-law. I would love to come to Dartmouth and see if you can recycle them for me. They have a very special
meaning for us. Hope to see you soon,
Jennifer

Hi Carol-I was one of the ladies at the Colby Drive Bible Chapel Ladies dinner a few weeks back. I really enjoyed your talk about
how you started, how they are made and how passionate you are about them. I too, have an old fur jacket and am going to pull it out
one of these days and contact you regarding a bear. God bless and I will be in touch.
